Having a large chip stack at your table in a poker tournament can be an ideal situation. With a large chip stack you can’t be knocked out in one hand and you can send smaller chip stacks running by making large bets.

However, having a big chip stack isn’t always ideal. If you don’t play it right you can go from a large stack to busted out in just a few hands.

When players obtain a large stack they tend to make one of two mistakes. They either play too tight, or they play too loose. To stay in the game, they need to try and find that middle ground to avoid losing their stack to the rest of the table.

Week 15 of the Bodog poker blogger tournament series was a night of bluffing and big pots! Bodog welcomes poker blogger AdMMM who joined us from Ireland this week. GG!

This week, Bodog poker bloggers Newinnov and J_Mathewson III went heads up in a showdown where each player started with equally large stacks, but Newinnov was quick to become the chip leader. The final hand came when Newinnov sat with a 5-1 chip lead and then jammed all-in from the button with a 6-6.

J_Mathewson III then called showing Ks-7s. NewinNov wins his 15th consecutive coinflip and continues to make the Bodog Blogger Tournament Series his personal playground securing his position at the top of the poker blogger tournament leaderboard.
